Corn Chowder

Cooking Directions

  1. Cook salt pork in a large pot until crisp and brown. Add green pepper and onion, saute for 3 minutes

  2. Add celery, potato, water, bay leaf, sage and parsley. Simmer for about 7 minutes

  3. Remove bay leaf, add corn, half and half, salt and pepper.

  4. Blend flour and milk and add to soup.

  5. Heat until slightly thickened.
